We now live in an era whose knowledge flows from multiple sources of
undeniably easy access. The Internet, is undoubtedly and since the
implementation of Web 2.0, the current middle busiest in the pursuit of
knowledge, where individuals huddled often without immunity against bad or
wrong information dissemination. As the internet today, and indeed, an
indispensable tool of societal functioning in multiple facets that it entails,
it also integrates hazards of absorption of ideas, concepts, reasoning schemes,
argumentative and biased proposals. Being aware of this underlying lack of
filtering information that goes wandering in the virtual world, is of extremely
importance. Some individuals doesn’t seem to be able to escape many of these
dangers, and for those who intend to go down the winding paths of the Art of Witchcraft, we felt the need to
give the breath of life to this blog. Adding to this, one might find difficulties
in finding a serious coven of the Craft
with initiatory, visionary and ecstatic approach
in its deeper implications.
We do not
pretend to be dogmatic nor as masters holders of all knowledge about these
subjects, however we have sound and sustainable arguments, not only born of
experience, but also of profound reflections, both esoteric and exoteric,
underlying Witchcraft itself, and that allows to deconstruct practices born of
easy solutions and often superficial conceptions characteristics of new age. We do not intend,
presumptuously, the reposition of beliefs or practices of the different Craft Traditions systems in form of
censorship, and we want to leave irrevocably clear that the suggested
approaches that throughout this blog we are presenting, are for individual and/
or group reflection, thus removing the absolutist initiation postulates and
closed nature in its specification, or on the way to which they are addressed.
In short, it is not our intention to close doors and pointing fingers, and
groundlessly criticizes the way none of the Craft!
We also announce that, whether in the deconstruction of Wicca, already too
facing the consumption of the masses, either in the specification or
objectification of certain parameters of Traditional Witchcraft, beginning to
emerge too poetic / shady, do not intend to offend nor individuals nor groups
already established. Our new address will be beyond the new age speech, full of the symbolism and depth that we want to
print in it, but on the other hand, we will be guided by the need to be clear and
specific, never neglecting the poetic and initiatory character. After all, the
heart of the Craft and his words lies
in its poetic, and in its various ways...
It is with good will and heart
that we want to extinguish the light of the room too artificially lit from the
above setbacks, thus prompting the individual under our humble words, we want
to give birth to the flame of fire of Divine
Light, not in the room in which it is, but in your own inner ... So in
conclusion molds, we can set this as a blog born from the desire to fill gaps
in the arguments and cognitive structures (group or individual) that persists
in the different Crossroads of Witchcraft,
that already envision the open public a few years to this part, or even
beginning to emerge in technologically mediated means.
We hope that the tread of the Crossroads of Art, under the inspired
words of this blog, can be the reopen of the doors that much seem to have been
closed for modern humanity...
